THE BIG DRAW 1 - 31 OCTOBER
October is Big Draw month in twenty countries, with 1400 events every year in the UK alone.
The Big Draw connects people of all ages with museum and gallery collections, urban and rural
spaces – and each other – in new and enjoyable ways. Over 200,000 people participate annually.
Big Draw events offer unlimited scope for those who love to draw and those who think they can't. Join in!
Sign up for alerts and visit again after 18 June to find your nearest events.
Why not hold a Big Draw?
Organisers include artists, teachers, staff at national, regional and local museums, galleries, libraries,
heritage sites, parks, schools, care homes, hospitals, shopping and community centres.
Many Big Draw events take place over half term for families. The Campaign has joined up with the new
Family Arts Festival to highlight these activities, and to tell even more families about arts
events designed for their enjoyment and appreciation.
Family Arts Festival 18 October - 3 November
If you plan a half term family programme, you will be part of the biggest family arts festival the UK has ever seen.
Register now at www.familyartsfestival.com
and please click the Big Draw button when you add your event. This ensures you are an important part of both programmes,
and will benefit from joint marketing and PR. All Big Draw events listed on
www.familyartsfestival.com will also appear here.
Please register here if your event does not fit the Family Arts Festival dates or audience,
or takes place outside the UK. We need your plans now! The sooner you add event details, the greater the press potential.
