PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Power Drawing is the professional development programme of the Campaign for Drawing. Its aim is to embed drawing as a medium for learning in a variety of settings – schools, museums, galleries, heritage sites and communities.

Drawing develops skills of perception, communication and invention, which are transferable to any subject and can support learning in a variety of educational and cultural settings. Power Drawing courses, seminars and presentations are for teachers of all key stages, PGCE students, cultural educators, artists and others who use drawing to promote learning, engagement and enjoyment.

Power Drawing works with national, regional and local agencies and organisations.

Power Drawing represents an important step forward both for education and the arts.
